I've never met a redhaired Iranian, yet it is probably possible (and not only through hair dye). If people have that genetic possibility in their genes anything can happen. I myself have a few random blond hairs. The real question is whether or not it matters. It does not. I have relatives who are white and I have realtives who look just like them who are black (socially). Race is not based on looks, otherwise a large number of African americans would classify as such.
