Re: Africa named after a Roman General?

Thank you for this significant point of the African history. I researched this due to my visit last weekend to Smithsonian's African museum. At the entrance/exit, on a small screen, hints or implies that Africa got her name from a Roman General. Need-less-to-say, I was not pleased to read that. As a matter of fact, I asked the friend that was with me, 'Are they trying to take credit for that too!!!' Incredible!!!

Thank you again. Although there were several spelling mistakes, the message is clear, Africa is the MOTHERLAND-PERIOD!!!!

Take care
