Zimbabwe revokes US official's visas Posted: Friday, April 13, 2007 The government of Zimbabwe cancelled visas for a congressional staff delegation from the US, citing no reason for their abrupt decision.
The US five member delegation was to meet opposition and civic leaders to help sort out the political crisis in Zimbabwe.
The delegation was headed by Pearl-Alice Marsh, responsible for advising US House of Representatives International Relations Committee, and consisted of her staff members.
US embassy's public affairs officer, Paul Engelstad, stated: "We very much regret the government's self-defeating decision which only further isolates them internationally." Full Article : presstv.ir
